Our process is rigorous and we take great care to ensure our tallow balms are clean and free of harmful chemicals. We source local grass-fed and finished suet from ranchers we trust, then

gently purify with water filtered by a Clearly Filtered water filter, which removes fluoride, chlorine, lead, PFAS, arsenic, and hundreds of other dangerous chemicals from water. It’s the best water filter on the market, in our opinion, so it was a no-brainer to use as part of our process. We lightly infuse our balms with 100% pure, cold-pressed, USDA certified organic jojoba oil - though balms without jojoba oil can be ordered upon request. Some balms include certified pure therapeutic-grade essential oils that are made in the USA and third-party tested for quality and purity. Our tallow balms are never stored in plastic at any point in the process to avoid harmful micro-plastics and BPA, and we package our tallow balm in glass jars.
